Livingston County is home to Conesus Lake, a true gem to the area. Boating is one of Conesus Lake's favorite activities, and there are several boat launches around the lake. Along West Lake Road on Conesus Lake is a hidden gem.  Hidden behind a row of hotel room doors is The Beachcomber of Conesus Lake. Now that the ice is gone on Conesus Lake, we can let the Spring fishing begin! From Small Mouth Bass to Walleye and Pike, every angler hopes the fish will be biting as they drop their lines into the waters of the lake.

Livingston County is a bustling community made up of 17 great towns, including: Avon, Caledonia, Conesus, Geneseo, Groveland, Leister, Lima, Livonia, Mount Morris, North Dansville, Nunda, Ossian, Portage, Sparta, SpringwaterWest Sparta and York. It all began with the legend handed down from their father and his late uncle of how they used to hide the cider in stumps from their spouses.  The term "let's go blow up some stumps" referred to them heading to the back yard to do some "swilling."
