Livonia

Livonia is considered the "Gateway To The Finger Lakes," with a total population of 7,300 residents.  the Town of Livonia contains several small villages & hamlets, and is located on the North Eastern side of Conesus Lake and stretches all the way to Hemlock Lake. Livonia is centrally located to the East of Geneseo and to the South of Avon.  Livonia is home to Livonia Central School and Livonia Bulldogs.

Livonia, named after a Russian Province, is centered by the Village of Livonia, but also contains the hamlets of Lakeville, South Lima, South Livonia, Livonia Center and Hemlock.  The Village of Livonia, formerly known as Livonia Station, grew to become the largest village within the town by 1872, with the arrival of the railroad twenty years earlier.
