4682 East Lake Road Rebuilt from 2015 Fire
In March of 2015, the home at 4682 East Lake Road in Livonia was totally destroyed by fire. The fire, caused by an unattended frying pan in the kitchen, got out of control in a hurry. Fortunately the owner escaped with his life on that frigid winter afternoon, thanks to 1st responders. Unfortunately the owner was not able to continue to live on his own anymore and unable to salvage this home, so it basically sat there as an eye-sore for many years. Those who frequently pass by down East Lake Road know this well.
The property was eventually sold, and during the last 18 months, the structure has been completely taken down and totally rebuilt by a local contractor.
