The Conesus Inn: Mistake On The Lake

The Battle Rages On

In an article written on January 15th, 2019, Matt Leader of the Livingston County News, he discusses legal battles still very much in play over the construction of a new restaurant/banquet facilities on the site of the old Conesus Inn.  The legal "triangle" involves the Town of Conesus, Carl Meyers Enterprises and Neighbors living on each side of the re-development.

This issue of course, is of interest to many people in the entire Conesus Lake community and beyond.  This partially completed structure has been a topic of discussion for everyone that has been on a boat on the lake and laid eyes on it for several years now.  These conversations generally come down to the same two questions: 

What's going to happen to it? 

Who's fault is it?  

While everyone has their differing opinions, I think EVERYONE wants to see resolution to this matter, especially the tax payers of Conesus, who are ultimately paying the price for this debacle.
