Canadice

Canadice is not your typical Finger Lake community.  Located on the western edge of Ontario County, Canadice is a hidden gem of the Finger Lakes Region.  Canadice is a relatively untouched natural habitat community.  Canadice boasts no village or town center.  It's 1,800 residents are spread throughout the 33 square miles of beautiful woodlands and pristine lake areas.

Canadice does boast plenty of untouched State Park land with The Canadice-Hemlock State Forest, as well as Harriet Hollister State Recreation Area.  Canadice can also proudly claim that the shores of three separate Finger Lakes lie within it's boundaries.  Those lakes would be Honeoye Lake, Canadice Lake and Hemlock Lake.

Much of the natural beauty of Canadice is protected by the State for purposes of preserving the integrity of the entire Hemlock-Canadice watershed, which still provides much of the drinking water for The City of Rochester.  The local benefit to this is the untouched natural beauty of the town, as well as the activities provided for hunting, fishing, hiking, and many other outdoor activities for the avid sportsman!
