The Grapest Festival Around

The Finger Lakes Region is home to some of the most beautiful places on earth.  Our wine country is no exception! Finding ways to see it can be fun and exciting! One of the premier grape  growing areas, offers just that!  A tradition since 1961, The Naples Grape Festival draws people from all around, every September, to enjoy the annual grape harvest, shop with local vendors and artisans, experience local food and listen to live music.  

The festival is held at the Naples, NY High School and on grounds surrounding it. It runs from 10am to 5pm and is held on September 29th and 30th.  

This years festival features 8 bands over the two day period. The food list is too large to list, but has some amazing things like, crepes, artichoke french, Italian sausage, BBQ, fudge, steak on a stick, bombers, pizza, and of course grape pies, just to name a few! There will be a wine tasting tent set up on Main Street and for a nominal fee, you can sample wines from the more than 10 wine vendors that will be onsite!

Come out this weekend and enjoy all that grape and wine season has to offer.  You may just find yourself winning a pie eating contest!
