Hey:  We're Really, Really Close!!!!

As a Buffalo native, I was very familiar with friends and family who took excursions to the Finger Lakes on a regular basis.  Whether that trip was a family vacation to a lakeside summer cottage for the week, a day trip to a specific destination or a weekend wine tour adventure with friends.  Most of these trips were to the big Finger Lakes like Cayuga, Seneca and Kueka lakes, which were up to a 3 hour car ride from Buffalo.

The surrounding communities of Conesus Lake are convenient, family friendly, and beautiful.  Geneseo is a community that exemplifies this.  Geneseo sits on the middle of it all!  Located in the heart of the Genesee River Valley, Geneseo is the hub of Livingston County, New York.  The village of Geneseo is home to over 7,500 residents, while the entire town includes an additional 2,000 residents.
