It's Wine Time in the Finger Lakes

There are many un-discoverd wineries in the Western Finger Lakes Region. The area is the largest wine producing region in the Eastern half of the United States and has continued to grow since the early 19th century. From large to small, all wineries are in full swing this time of year.  Many hold special events along with tastings and hopped up wine production! It's also a great time of year to visit many of the distilleries & breweries that the area has to offer.  Many of the towns have new ones popping up as I write this.

This is a great time of year to take a quiet drive, enjoy the fall foliage and visit many of the 120 plus wineries along no fewer than 7 of the Finger Lakes.  Seneca LakeCayuga Lake and Canandaigua Lake, are just a few.  Conesus Lake has some hidden gems of its own. Deer Run Winery , OSB Cider Works  and Eagle Crest Vineyard offer some great local flavors of their own. The Finger Lakes wineries attract travelers from around the world.  A weekend drive or getaway to the area is well worth the trip. The added bonus is that the area is one of the most beautiful spots around this time of year!
