Honeoye Lake: Hidden Gem of The Western Finger Lakes
When the Western Finger Lakes Region is referenced, most people think of Canandaigua Lake, south of Rochester, New York. Others may know of Conesus Lake, the Region's Western most Finger Lake. Not many are familiar with Honeoye Lake nestled in the hills in between. Honeoye Lake is considered one of the "minor" Finger Lakes located west of the "major" lakes of the Finger Lakes region, along with Conesus Lake, Canadice Lake and Hemlock Lake.
Honeoye Lake is the 2nd smallest of all the Finger Lakes at 4.5 miles long. Its size, location and raw beauty make it very popular with it's full time and seasonal residents. They relish the small, sleepy community flavor, as well as relatively untouched natural surroundings. Honeoye Lake offers timeless lake living that hard to find with so many other waterfront communities. Honeoye Lake also offers a very wide range of home buying options.
